Bright Eyes' music video for their song "First Day Of My Life" off of their 2005 album I'm Wide Awake It's Morning. A very simple but great video that goes hand in hand with the song. The song is probably one of the best by Bright Eyes, definitely a song with much more hope than a lot of others by the band. After listening to this song and seeing the video, it's hard not to have a good feeling inside you :)

By all standards, this past year has defied normalcy. Two thousand eight has been a year when a typical Happy Holidays card fails to express the gratitude and emotions we have for everyone with whom we are lucky enough to collaborate — especially our 70 portfolio companies. Theres much work ahead but also much joy. So after a year when so many of the big things have us spooked, lets remember the happiness of simple things, like dancing with friends and colleagues.
