James Cameron's given us a whole lot of big-name movies over the years, but his newest, Avatar, might be his biggest yet. Already, tickets for a free sneak preview were snatched up so fast online that servers were crashed. When a paraplegic war veteran is taken to a distant planet, he's going to discover that there's a whole lot of bad blood between the humans who've moved there and the planet's indigenous life. But how bad can things get? Oh, you'll find out soon enough. Check out the trailer that everyone's been dying to see. Now here's the interesting question--considering the amount of hype that this one has already brought into play, can it possibly live up to all that hype? There's plenty of star power in this one, and James Cameron rarely disappoints--but there's a first time for everything. Is this it? Head on down to the comments section below and weigh in. Thanks for watching! In Theatres Worldwide December 18 - AVATAR takes us to a spectacular world beyond imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on an epic adventure, ultimately fighting to save the alien world he has learned to call home. James Cameron, the Oscar-winning director of Titanic, first conceived the film 15 years ago, when the means to realize his vision did not exist yet. Now, after four years of production, AVATAR, a live action film with a new generation of special effects, delivers a fully immersive cinematic experience of a new kind, where the revolutionary technology invented to make the film disappears into the emotion of the characters and the sweep of the story.

Nobody had made it yet, so I decided somebody should. Lest people think I'm being mean to James Cameron, bear in mind its from his own mouth that his latest science fiction movie is based on the Disney film Pocahontas. This video was an attempt to see how close the parallels run and the result was...pretty darn close. Just some good natured fiun made at the expense of a film I consider taking itself way too seriously. - This is also an attempt to upload a video in HD resolution. I hope it works. - I own neither Avatar or Pocahontas. The rights to use the images and sounds are covered in the Parody clause.

Wow. How shit are the new youtube changes? Clearly the staff have too much time on their hands. Update: I've finally seen Avatar now, it rocked :D Comments irrelevant to the video will be deleted. Spammers, STOP commenting, you all get blocked and your comments deleted anyway. Original trailer: www.youtube.com I didn't expect to finish this video till after I came back from holiday, lol. But it turns out I had more free time than I thought before I leave, so yay. The video turned out to be easier than I expected. The only really challenging part was the part about the avatars and it sucks a bit but hopefully the rest of the video can make up for it :) What would have been really great for this video is if Kokoum had had enough lines in the film, because then he could've been Jake's avatar, but unfortunately that just wasn't an option. Sigh. Merry Christmas everyone!

Suspense auteur M. Night Shyamalan takes a break from crafting original screenplays to tell this tale of a 12-year-old boy (Noah Ringer) who provides the last hope for restoring harmony to a land consumed by chaos. In a world balanced on the four nations of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air, people known as the Waterbenders, Earthbenders, Firebenders, and Airbenders have mastered their native elements. Though the masters can each manipulate their native elements, the only one with the power to manipulate all four elements is a young boy known as the Avatar. When the Avatar subsequently appears to die while still mastering his powers, the Fire nation launches a global war with the ultimate goal of global domination. One hundred years later, two teens discover that the Avatar and his flying bison have in fact been locked in suspended animation. Upon being freed from his prison, the Avatar embarks on an arduous quest to restore harmony among the four war-ravaged nations.
