The Greek city of Sparta had the finest warriors of the world and 300 of these soldiers were chosen to meet the Persians in the mountain pass of Thermopylae. Vastly outnumbered, the Spartans held back the enemy in one of the most famous last stands of history.

300 really is the best film I have seen in a long time. The storyline is great and I've never seen such great usage of a greenscreen before. The best movie of 2007 so far. (2nd - Grindhouse) Scenes like this just prove how utterly awesome this film is. "Madness! This is SPARTA!"
guess I wasnt the only one who thought this tune would make a great vid with 300.................hope you like! no other song competes or gets the blood going like this one. I try to not jam entire movie into 5 mins, so this way if you havent seen this movie yet, YOU WILL! crank it up, and make your family wonder why you are listening to opera!!! I have not seen any other long versions of this song, so hopefully this one makes a difference. also, I forget to mention this was made for member Cunning Linguist, the only other member that has just about the same music tastes as me, hope you like CL! EDIT: this was performed by the Atlanta Philharmonic, taken from the movie EXCALIBUR soundtrack. 1980s!
